Hello! My name is Parth and I am a Full-Stack Developer with a background in the medical device manufacturing industry. After spending 3 years in the industry, I discovered a deep fascination with programming and its role in how medical devices work. Since then, I decided to make a career change into software engineering. My goal? To improve quality of life through code.

My experience includes designing web applications with full CRUD capabilities using JavaScript, Node.js, Express, HTML, CSS among others. You can find a full list of my current proficiencies below.

2015 - 2019
Undergraduate Student

I pursued a Biomedical Engineering degree at the New Jersey Institute of Technology with an aim to improve the prosthetic and implant market for patients in need.
2017 - 2021
Pharmacy Technician
@ CVS
While studying for my degrees, I worked at CVS to help patients in another way. This was especially important to me during the pandemic, where society needed us more than ever to make sure everyone stayed as healthy as possible.
2020 - 2022
Graduate Student

Towards the latter half of the pandemic I decided to pursue my M.S. in Biomedical Engineering while continuing to search for a job within my field of study.
2021 - 2023
Manufacturing Technician

I joined Siemens Healthineers as a Manufacturing Technician working on their Atellica line of instruments which are top of the market instruments that report highly accurate lab results at incredible speeds and quantities.
2023 - Current
Software Developer
I took a leap of faith to embrace my new found passion. After completing an intense 3 month bootcamp at General Assembly to learn software engineering, I am now ready to use my skills to achieve my goal.
